About the artist
Howdy, Howdy,
welcome all fellow freaks and misfits!
My name is Amber, I'm glad to see you here, and happy to have you.
I was born May 19 1999, In a small town in central NJ.
From a very young age, I've always had an inclination for the arts. I've probably been drawing for as long as I've had functioning motor skills. I do just about anything creatively I can get my hands on, digital works to traditional, sculpting, claymation, mediocre music, poetry, photography, jewelry making, sewing, insect preservation.
Anything you can think of, I probably love to do it.
And if you've ever met me in person, you've likely noted my eccentric take on daily makeup.
I worked at an NJ local art studio for 4 years as an assistant teacher, where I also took lessons.
Working in studio taught me a lot of what I now understand to be the fundamentals of composing solid artwork.
In recent years I have mostly used procreate for my digital works,
though I am proficient in virtually all computer programs including photoshop.
Traditionally, my favorite painting medium is gouache. But I am trained in and love working in numerous mediums including charcoal, pastel, oils, acrylic, watercolor, ink.
Most commonly you will see me sketching and illustrating in graphite and charcoals.
When I'm not working or drawing, you can find me out in nature taking walks and hiking.
